The Managing Director
Esther Boughton, Managing Director, has been performing and inspiring others to sing all her life.
She is somewhat embarrassed to admit that she recruited & rehearsed her first "choir" at the tender age of 7. Practices were held in the playground come rain or shine! She took every opportunity throughout her teens to sing & play piano and moved on to be Musical Director of a large youth amateur dramatics company in Chatham when she was a student.
Church music is in her blood: she has formed and directed choirs in a church setting for 20 years and is Musical Director at her church, North Bushey Baptist. She also leads 4 piece jazz band, Mostly Jazz, playing gentle, easy-listening background music for special occasions.

The P'zazz Leaders
Esther recruits all the Leaders herself, carefully hand-picking people who are passionate about their area of expertise & their ability to bring it alive with children. The P’zazz Leaders are highly professional, CRB checked and have Public Liability Insurance.
All P'zazz Leaders receive regular training and support.

A little history
P'zazz was started by Esther in 2006. She put her experience of directing choirs to the test in her local primary school, devising a lovely, light-hearted way of singing in which her passion for music energises the children and gives them chance to discover & own music for themselves. She began by singing in the classroom and launched P'zazz as a singing club for the rest of the school the following term. Over 70 children signed up (25% of the school) which firmly answered the question of whether there was demand!
In 2008, Esther took P'zazz to other schools and the style of singing was so well received that she started to recruit P'zazz Leaders, training & supporting them to deliver excellent singing sessions across the UK. As more Leaders came on board, the company was able to diversify to share the talents of the new Leaders so now the porfolio of clubs includes Glee, Musical Theatre, Drama, Dance & Art in addition to the original Sing club.
